Which Groupset?

so i have a triple on the front on my cervelo (i know, kill me). i really do want to change out the crankset but i cant go to a triple without getting new levers and mech can i? ultegra from '09 btw.

I ran a triple ultegra shifter with a double mech and chainset for years without a problem, if that helps...?
