Test ride on the coastal commute completed yesterday without incident; apart from adjustments to gears and brakes, the headset working loose and a shoeplate ditto. The joys of old machinery, I should shoot the builder!
When I wasn't fiddling with a multitool it rode beautifully, but boy did I miss the other 5 gears..... At least it felt like I'd never been without toeclips and downtube levers.
It also gave me an excuse to take some isn't-my-commute-lovely pictures.
