I think the idea was that if it's in the cafe we can take it to polo easily every Saturday for the people who don't have a bike.
(the new cafe is right next to london fields (a couple of minutes walk from the court) so it means any beginner with no bike can use that. (the suggestion was not for the old cafe but the one in london fields) -

I have his number and I am assisting him with his build.
if it will be used by someone else, it can go north. i'd prefer if it stayed with an individual who comes to beginners sessions, and they looked after it, rather than sitting in a cafe, to be honest - too much opportunity for it to be lost that way i feel - but its not mine to say where it goes... i'll PM you his number tomorrow when i'm in work.

Io basically runs the sessions at the moment and I'm there quite often. I'm also more than once a week at Look Mum as it seems... So - if they do it at all, and we'd have to agree on some arrangement, I really see it also as a little ad in that shop for polo - I can look after it or I suggest the ones running Sat sessions also have to look after that loaner.

He is still using it. You would have seen him on it had you not whinge about the weather and turned up at Newt last week. Also, posting someone's number on a public forum?

I've got two Archie frames, one with most parts but no wheels, to donate if someone wants to build them up for loaners.
-
• #158
Wow that's cool. I may have a back wheel I can give (as long as it fits) and probably handlebars and tires. I don't mind putting some time in building

I have V-brakes... and I'm happy to help you Io.

If it is any help I can store a bike very close to Newington Gardens.

ok just checking my storage room:
I have:- 2 x tyres (700x28c)
- some punctured inner tubes that could be fixed
- back wheel
- cut down straight handle bars (25.4)
- grips
- left brake lever
- pedals
- possibly a charge masher chain
all subject to actually fitting! :-p
Happy to donate these / put them on a loaner bike. (im not interested in using a loaner myself - i just want to contribute something back in the polo community as Ben and Paul have been so awesome to me with helping me out)
Paul, i'm up for building it up with you! :-) x pizza, wine and beer, my turn this time! :-)

So I have:
-one Archie frame with everything except wheels. It as V-brake bosses on the forks but not the seat stays.
-one Archie frame with a headset and forks, no bosses. As long as these are going to remain LPC community bikes, I am happy to donate them. If someone wants to come pick them up in Dalston, I'm mostly working from home right now. Otherwise I could try to deliver them maybe this weekend. DM me.
