Interesting that they 'know' this given that he's currently half way round the world and probbly currently on a training pitch somewhere...
Are you really that dim?
The reporter will have spoken to his agent, who'd have told him what Suarez wants.

The reporter will have taken a punt to get another few column inches based on recent pour quality 'journalism'

Preferable to Piers Morgan, surely?

Getting stabbed is preferable to anything to do with Piers Morgan.

Any idea who 'we're' trying to buy at the moment?
Signed two strikers, a goalkeeper and a defender. However, neither striker is experienced in the PL, so possibly a bit risky by Rodgers. The 'midfielders' comment referred to the number of midfielders LFC have brought in over the last few seasons, yet failed to reinforce attacking options sufficiently. But you'd have known this...
Rodgers still chasing a winger after losing out on Henrikh Mkhitaryan
Soldado being touted as a possible. As are Aly Cissokho and Josep Ilicic. Soldado being the most exciting prospect (after Darren Bent of course).
Blimey; Borini's actually looking ok right now...

I would rather die than have anything to do with him.
He is the slimiest of slimy fuckers. I would like to know what sort of people watch his show. The cull would start with them if I were running the show -

Beautiful bit of play from Suarez right at the end, to set up Aspas for a simple tap-in. Liverpool really can't afford to lose Suarez.

So i'm confused about the £40mil release clause. I was under the impression that if a team offered more than £40mil, Ratface would be free to agree terms and move?
No. He is in a three year contract so the club have a little muscle in what happens. It'd be nice to see a club defy sports page editors and do what's in the best interest of the club. Also, if, theres a release clause it only means the potential move only has to be discussed.
