Training Stress Score- how hard you worked during a ride.
It's very roughly calculated as a percentage of your FTP (Functional Threshold Power), which is your maximum 1 hour output in watts.
So, if for example your FTP was 300 watts and you went out for an hour and average 150 watts then your TSS would be ~50, although that is grossly oversimplifying things.
The intensity of the ride also figures as part of the calculation, as you might have averaged 150 by repeated 600 watt sprints, then coasted, or you might have just done a steady state 150 watts for the hour etc etc.
