Yep, the weather was lovely, all the time, sun sun sun. We did realise how lucky that was! A few days it was so hot the tarmac started melting and stuck to our tyres, and we drank about half of Lake Vyrnwy to keep hydrated, but it was all good.
I for one would love to go back and do Hellfire Pass, with hindsight I should have just navigated it from memory but I was a bit worried about us getting lost up an 1800ft high mountain and rescued by Prince William in a Sea King.
And yes, gears! No way I could have done that fixed, I think I just reached 25k of climbing for the week...
