  • Fairly modern Nigel Dean built Geoffrey Butler touring frame. 27.2 seatpost is very tough to squeeze in. Really surprised to find that the old seatpost is what looks like a smidgen over 26mm. Reckon I should continue to force in the 27.2, believing it's the right size and that the frame was slightly pinched around the old seatpost, or just give up and use the shitty old 26mm post?

    I can the the 27.2 post about 3 inches in before it gets really tough.
