Got to Cafe St Germain at around half eight with the humidity so high that water droplets were forming on my sunglasses.
Chilly sitting outside, chatting to the other Brixton Cycles riders, but we assured each other that the sun would come out soon.
Luckily, it did, and we had a very pleasant, fairly slow paced jaunt around the North Downs- 50 miles of lanes, a few climbs and some nice descents.
