Girlfriend and I wish to have a few days break, stay in a B&B or hire a cottage and go offroading. Our preference is not heavily manicured or built trails, but riding rough hewn trails in woods. So somewhere like longleat forest appeals more than swinley since its renovation. Where can we go In the uk that can offer this kind of thing? Girlfriend wants roots and rocks to bounce over on her fatbike.

DJ have a look at Gisburn forest... Really rocky and technical stuff, quiet as well.
