If it makes you feel any better it is an absolutely stunning bit of road and there are lots of other equally amazing roads for riding and driving in that area. Then when you get bored of the roads there are some great mountain biking trails to be found and you also have the right to roam so can in effect go anywhere (apart from parts of the Balmoral estate which is the other side of Breamar from there, the Police might get a bit shooty if you go there, especially if the head lizard is staying).
