I just bought a Thomson seatpost from ebay so when that arrives (hopefully thursday) I will have one of these surplus to requirements.
You can have it for £15 if you want?
it has a sticker on it but I can remove it and clean it up before posting.

Had a vig before mash and before the graphics went to pot.
As soon as I laid my tiny hipster eyes on a Mash though I had to have it.
I was not dissapoint.

Thanks for the offers/advise, might have a swap lined up locally for an Easton E70? Would owe me a tenner effectively, if it falls through i'll come back to these options. I have the bars and stem bought plus a saddle in errr...yellow :S Sorry, not a current projects thread i know but value the opinions of those with experience in here.

What have you bought? Have you got any pictures to add, always interested to see the variations on a theme and what others are doing.

Just kept it simple really
Cinelli Mash bolt
Mavic ellipse wheels
Sugino 75 BB, wanted Phil Wood's really but wasn't instock :(
Sugino 75 black, wanted zen ring but wasn't in stock so i went for 75 ring
just bmx pedels and straps, wanted something new instead of cages
Thompson seat post and stem X4 (Black)
Cinelli black mash bullhorn and just tape up the mash logo in black
EAI cog
super toughness chainThats pretty much it,
ill upload a pic, once it's all nicely done!

Just came across this thread. I'll post some pictures of my mash very soon.

Without wanting to clog up this thread with potentially BS waffle i'd like to do just that...
Saddles, i've got a Concor Junior in brown suede and Regal Girardi in yellow, further investigation revealed some unused brown cloth tape. I'm thinking of going really crazy and using all my vison to picture the Concor in brown with brown tape on the bike and the accompanying tick next to saddle and bar tape.
I managed to pick up an Easton seat post, second hand Deda Pista stem and pushed the boat out and bought the bars brand new for a shade over £30.

Here's Balotelli hahaha
Changing the seatpost tomorrow because i ordered a Thompson in silver by mistake (dumb fuck) and need dust crank covers!

Cheers! had a few NICE down the road this evening! just need to get used to straps and this gear ratio is amazing 49/18

IMHO Silver post (with silver chainring) would look just right. But I would also change them pedals if it was me! And bars... But otherwise goodwork
-
• #1744
I can't see how the sliver would fit in with the others, the pedals aint permanent, just giving straps a try, what would you recommend?

My only beef with finishing it with all black components is......... Every other fucker has done the same and it just becomes the same as the next persons. Especially going Thomson x Thomson. Image search a mash bolt and try to find one built with silver parts. Not easy. One could say because it doesn't work, but with a bit of taste and style instead of doing the obvious in can look great (IMHO!)
For my black posts I love the deda drittissimo which has a nice carbon finishing. (Assuming u want inline)
Pedals and cages are my thing when not clipped in. MKS seem to fit the bill

Actually I now run deda stems also. Or the zipp course sl.

I built my Histo with silver parts to make it slightly less generic. No GIS reference needs confidence, but that's rather the point.

I must admit i think silver works well but given it sounds like you've just bought all the parts brand new and to your liking i'd stick with what works for you.
I think i would have kept the silver seatpost myself but it's your bike and your choices. MKS pedals aren't bad, the silver or black/silver would work IMHO.

try ebay, nice seatposts for some reason can be found pretty cheap there
