Once you get above 50, does the number really make any difference?
I've got 175 cranks, that makes for a circumference of a little over a metre, which divided by 50 POE means the most I'll have to move my cranks to engage is 2cm, with the likely average being below 1cm. With 120 POE, it becomes less than 5mm... Would I notice the difference in engagement between one and half a cm?
I should probably admit to having a cheapi shimano freewheel, which IiRC has 18 POE?
