Such sad news. RIP.
LCC organises a second protest ride after third cyclist killed in three weeks on roads without dedicated space for cycling. It's time for a change. Please share this, get the word out. Attend if you can. If you ride a bike in London, this affects you. we need to send a message: London should be a safe cycling city for all ages and skill levels.

I got to the junction of Theobalds Rd and Grays Inn round about 11am and saw backed up traffic and road closure. Traffic was insane and I immediately knew it was bad. Didn't see who was involved but my gut told me it was cyclist. I was right...saw it seconds later on Twitter.
All I'm thinking is he left home just as I did on a warm muggy morning, I got pick pocketed (only got oyster card) he got killed, I'm back home he isn't. I saw my mum this afternoon. His mum will never see him nor his family and friends.
I would never dream of cycling on the streets of London....madness but 2 deaths in just over a week and a life altering accident a week ago in Stamford Hill is enough to make me pause and think WTF?????
RIP rider man.
