cheers ed. moved the cleats back a touch, and rotated. sidis are such a funny shape it's hard to tell what's straight. was getting some pain behind left knee, I think because I was pigeon-toed.
just went and bought specializzzed footbeds. p'raps not the best but they have them in Condor and I was in there. the chap was hugely sceptical of my wide feet in sidis, reasonably enough, but hey I have them now, might as well try and make them comfy. surprisingly the heat/pressure test thing said I had medium arch, whereas I'd always considered I had rather flat feet. will give them a go.
I am absolutely none the wiser about this adjustable heel-cup business though. I have the instructions. I don't feel any difference.
