I'm struggling to keep my headset tight - either in the first instance or over time.
it's an ahead system with an expandable plug for the carbon steer tube rather than a star nut and bolt -
there is a couple of mm between top of stem and top of steer tube so tightening the expander plug bolt should pull topcap down onto stem and keep the whole headset assembly tight - i have to properly torque it to get it tight in the first instance (more than i am comfortable doing bearing in mind carbon steer tube) and it is apt to come loose over time.
