  • Froomie completely fucked that up. Everyone makes mistakes.
Was on Cav's wheel and instead of jumping hard and sprinting over, he sat up.

  • What time will you guys be coming to the pub?

  • What time will you guys be coming to the pub?

    Next Thursday? Lunchtime.

  • I can confirm today was equally awesome 2nd time round. Hell, I may even watch it a 3rd time!

  • hs gt a phbia f vwls 2 apprntly

what the fuck did a vole do to him?

  • Froome panicked at first... then played it cool. Saxo-Tinkoff, eliminated Movistar without (yet) seriously positioning Contador as a real contender for the yellow jersey. Only real concern for Froome is the fact that he was totally isolated, and could end up so yet again.

Great race, great performance by Saxo-Tinkoff, but ironically Froome actually gained more than Contador, no longer having to worry about Movistar and Valverde.

Can't wait till tomorrow... let alone Sunday; bring it on!

  • Awesome stage but the ad breaks on itvplayer are killing me.

Install an AdBlocker on the browser and it'll skip them. Makes watching 4od and ITV player tolerable.

This was mentioned a few pages back but it doesn't work for me. I've got "adblocker 2.6.0" for safari. What adblockers will work with the awful ITVplayer adverts?

  • AdBlock for Chrome is working very nicely for me

  • Next Thursday? Lunchtime.

Cheers. It's booked. Simon will handle the details.

  • Where are all the fuckin nozzles with their boring 'sprint' stage whinging now?

    Fuckin great stage.

  • And gets on his radio like a twat.

    Edit Eurosport have the clip

LOL @ 30 seconds into the Stannard interview.

"You were aware that Chris Froome waz a twat?"

  • Skelator

I'm just happy this has been resolved.

  • Not sure if anyones mentioned it, apologies if this has been covered elsewhere - Tour de France fan park starts next Monday at Wood Wharf, 5 mins walk from Canary Wharf station. Should be excellent spot for watching outdoors on a pretty jumbo screen and you have the added delights of sampling cracking grub such as Buttermilk fried chicken from my van, Spit & Roast. Bleeker Burger there too who are ridiculously good. Discounts of course to any forum peeps, ask for Ross. Hope to see you down there! http://tourdefrancefanpark.co.uk/

  • Love a crosswind me. Also enjoying the seriously extensive French TV coverage, now I can watch it. It's wrong that I'm enjoying Froome and Sky getting fucked over isn't it? If it is being wrong never felt so right.

Not that I want Contador to win though. Hope Cadel improves, or was the Giro a flash in the bag...

  • bag pan.

    ftfy

Are you enjoying the wine already? :)

  • Oops, my bad. Been on the pastis, horrible stuff really but the locals seem to like it

  • enjoying Froome and Sky getting fucked over

That's fine. I want him to win, but I want it to be difficult - I'm a fan of good cycling more than any particular cyclist.

  • This ^.

At the end of last Saturday's stage it looked like a repeat of last year was on the cards, which whilst it was great to see Wiggins win, it was a very dull race. A week later and the race is wide open, it's clear who the strongest rider is but his team are looking like they are unable to support him properly.

  • Yeah I'm kind of that mind also, but he is difficult to like, with his slightly dour personality, mouthy girlfriend and mantis-like riding style. I think it's a big mistake not having Wiggins there, he could have been a real weapon and his fitness would have got to the needed level, but you got the impression Froome was determined not to have him there. Without him and Cav Sky aren't as lovable.

Really enjoying how Belkin are riding, and love seeing Mollema in second.

  • Watch yesterday's highlights again. What a day of racing. Will
Go down as one of the best racing stages this tour.

  • Really enjoying how Belkin are riding...

So much better than the Rabobank team of the last few years. It's hard to tell what's changed but I wonder if some of these changes are starting to pay dividends?

  • This!

  • Without him and Cav Sky aren't as lovable.

    This

  • Sky were never lovable, but Wiggo and Cav are.

  • Stannard, Kiri, Kennaugh, Boss, G

All loveable. Particularly stannard. Hope he goes on to win a big 4 classic.
