This seemed pretty wonky to me, given they would permit time-trial and triathlon bikes yet somehow disallow recumbent bikes. Even further when you think about it, it’s perfectly fine to organize 100 of your friends into a peloton and cruise along at 40MPH to snipe a segment, but not OK to do so in the lawn chair position.
