Car appreciation... the aesthetics, the engineering, etc

Heh, I saw that one on eBay last night, however a) I have to finish the house first before taking on another project and b) the Mrs would want to see the Volvo go if we got another vehicle.

b) is a bit of a problem as I suspect that there is no way I'd ever get back the money I've put into that car. In many ways it's now new, but it's also a 17 year old car.

Frankly that red horrorshow looks like it's only good for the scrapheap. I really fancied the red Bay crewcab for £4k but I have similar missus / house related issues....
