How fast are you planning to ride? I was doing about 19 mph for the flat sections in suffolk and was hammering it past a lot of people, but then having to wait for my riding buddies. This year I'm planning to just power through.
It's quite a slow ride for the most part it seems, though I was right at the back last year after stopping to help lots of people with mechanicals.
