And if anyone went riding last weekend or today, fuck me, there's no need for a jacket!
If I get cold I'll just HTFU and suffer, Rapha style... ;) -

West feeder participants are synched and garmins are loaded.

Do I reeeeaaally need to bring a lock? I am going to have to bring a backpack but don't want a lock in there unless absolutely necessary. I'm guessing with such a big group a bike pile will be fine..

I just checked trains for tomoz and it looks like bus rail replacement service from LB. We will wait for you!
Shit buzz, we ride!
Also Caz, fuck locks in this heat! We will glare menacingly at anyone who looks at our bikes ¬_¬

So I've just learnt that the official Ldn Rapha ride was led by men. It is just me or does that kinda strike anyone else as ridic on the WOMEN'S 100 event? So much for sisters doing it for themselves!
Anyhoo, rants aside, some top riding from some top ladies today in less than ideal conditions, and lots of impressive efforts from people who have never ridden that distance. And men folk. Imagine
Proper write up tomorrow but cheers birds! May you all have flowery descents : D

really enjoyed the ride and meeting you all! thanks for the pick up/drop off at liv street! :)

The land lady of the Heron pub in Herne Bay has asked me to pass on her thanks for stopping off before your train journey home. You are welcome back any time. My wife Liz was a little miffed to have missed you as she is in a minority of one when it comes to female fixters in Herne Bay!

Ahhaaa! The secret spot who wouldn't tell us his name! I debated ousting you on the other thread and demanding to know how you were!

Backstop 2 here. I won't bother posting my Garmin trace as I missed out on part of the ride (unless my secret power is teleportation!)
Well done everyone, especially to those for which it was their first long ride. Excellent leading Poots. Following a garmin trace is bloody difficult!
Let's all write to Rapha and complain that their women's ride was lead by men. boooo.

This forum has changed. :)

After all my worries I was actually able to sleep last night, I woke up at 4am with a racing heartbeat but that just means I need to do more rides!

posted this on the Rapha event wall:
Hello Rapha, I was just wondering what your reasoning was for having men lead your official London ride? I was under the impression that this was supposed to be an event for women, run by women?
-

<- Awesome Doctor Cake! Women folk can't be trusted with leading rides obviously.
Here is our "before" picture sans sun burn and heat rash. Thanks to se1derful for cameraman-ing.
