• There are no really steep descents on the Dunwich Dynamo. The main fast descent is the one towards Sudbury, which will feel uncomfortable brakeless, especially if you have to skid-stop for the traffic signal at the bottom (yeah, right). There's a brief moderately steep descent towards Sible Hedingham (shortly before the feed) which in the dark can surprise you, and a couple of other descents en route, but as I say, none that are really steep.

    While the rolling hills towards the end can feel pretty leg-sapping after 100 miles, there is only one sketchy bit here:

    It doesn't look like a problem on StreetView, but it can often be covered in all sorts of crap. I know plenty of people who've done it brakeless without issues, but if in doubt walk the short bit to the bottom.

    Anyway, doing the DD brakeless is obviously not a good idea, but who ever rode brakeless because it was a good idea? You'll enjoy the ride more with brakes. Obviously. :)
