I would absolutely love one of these- trips to the builders merchants most of the time, then put the bikes in the back and drive to the alps every now and again.
Let me guess- they are a million pounds?

Dammit just to be clear that's not mine, just one I found on the T25 forum. They are really cool though - how much? This one http://www.brick-yard.co.uk/forum/topic70495_post612556.html#612556 seems to have just gone for £3500. That s a bargain I reckon but there is such a huge range of prices as everyone has a different opinion of what these thing are worth.

There is a very good chance that I'd have bought that if I had seen it in time.

You want one previously owned by a German architect.

Keep your eye on volkszone and 8090.co.uk
Anecdotally asking prices seem to have dropped a bit in the last few months

That was the idea. Gulf sent a ton of stickers but couldn't quite bring myself to logo it up.

got a few bits and bobs of rust coming through on very bottom edge of side panels/runners on van - anyone used coloured Hammerite successfully? Thinking of doing light sanding of edges and painting - it's not really in visible areas so doesn't need to be spot on - but wonder if Hamerite alone will cure rust?

I've seen various posts suggesting using a rust inhibiting primer first e.g. vactan. Never tried it though although god knows I need to :(

I went over a rusty mini's underside with a wire brush, slapped on rust inhibitor then went over with black Hammerite. Worked a treat. I sold it, but it was years before I heard reports of a rust bubble or two.

Then Vactan, then something like Rustoleum Combi-colour as it's meant to have rust inhibiting qualities.
If you don't remove all the rust before you paint then it'll just come back through the paint.

Any ideas on the best camper blogs/forums? I'm thinking more T25 than split screen.
Need a bit of motivation to save over the coming winter.

http://forum.club8090.co.uk/index.php is a dedicated T25 forum, very active and very helpful to me when I owned one.
Also try http://www.brick-yard.co.uk/forum/ whic is very closely affiliated to the http://www.brickwerks.co.uk/ shop.
Finally http://www.volkszone.com/VZi/ knows everythign about everything from Bugs, obscure exotica up to T5s.

I quite like this for inspiration http://campervanculture.com/ , it's T25 Syncro based but the guy's attitude will get you motivated.
