Ah, for some reason I thought they were IS to post, saw them earlier whilst browsing and they were just in my head.
I know the post mount calipers don't care about rotor size too, when you mentioned your wound-up I thought it was a bike, not a fork (dunno too much about CX) there is a 20mm difference in post mounts front and rear, so if you stuck a 160mm front set up on the rear it would fit a 140mm rotor. I think so anyway, I could be wrong, where's tester when you need him to tell us both why we're wrong?
