I think it's safe to say I am over my fear of hills :D I did learn though that proper descending is almost as hard work as getting up the hills in the first place.
Totally, totally worth it. And cycling in Italy was a total joy. Even in the smallest places there were cycle paths. And motorists in Italy seem to give cyclists plenty of room (as a result of them being one of those countries that have the laws that motorist is automatically at fault in case of incident?)
Not this weekend as I was driving across Europe but whilst away in Italy I did this ride in the Tuscany mountains/countryside.
