Big bouncy Kona for sale!

Wish I had a use for a bouncy bike! I've just bought gridds' cotic soul, really looking forward to building it up, hoping it feels more chuckable than the kinesis I have, which is a great long ride bike but not as much fun as I'd like...

The Soul is a great fun bike! Big bouncy bikes just make you go too fast and really hurt yourself*

I'd have a bouncy bike if I lived in Canada or the alps... Tough but lightish hardtail makes much more sense where I am! How the hell DJ has justified a fatty I don't know...

Some Pikes would be sweet on that Soul... Oh, wait, luckily I'm selling some ;)

Girlfriend offered me a fatbike for my birthday tomorrow.
She rides hers on boggy dog walks and once beaches open up to dogs again we shall go for dune rides. She also has friends who live in the alps, so possible winter rides too.

Absolutely love my Soul - use it more than other higher spec mtb. Needs carbon post for comfort.
-
• #4714
Na, I'd say the Soul is plenty comfy enough without carbon post.

I don't know why iPad does this..
You were holding it upside down. The image file is written in the orientation of the imaging sensor, it should also write orientation in the image meta-data so that display devices/applications can show the image in the correct orientation. This does sometimes work, I get pictures from my brother's iPhone which are upside down in email display (dumb application) but the right way up in image manipulation program (smarter application)

Anyone got a cheap, small (15-16") disc frame knocking about? Even a basic Carrera type thing would be fine!
Cheers

I'm going to strip down my Cannondale F5 later. It's 16", discs, headset for tapered steerer.

What a day, one of the most pain in the arse builds I've done... First up couldn't get the headset in (even with press, albeit it shitty ebay one) luckily LBS sorted it for me.
Then when it came to removing the stem, both (non-original) steerer bolts rounded off.
Had to drill them out, which I've never done before... luckily worked and I had a spare stem to hand I could use.
Then the front mech took an age as I couldn't figure out how to cable it, in the end, it was the blatantly obvious and simple route, not around the swingy bit....
Finished up, adjusted the brakes, trued the front disc... Had a blast along the street, what can I say? Feels great! Can't wait to ride the Dale's tomorrow.
Safer on road? What, with cars?
