On Sunday I test rode the route for next weekend's Rapha Women's 100 in Kyoto (which I'm co-leading, despite not being a woman, because my GF has no sense of direction whatsoever).

It was... not really suitable. I rode it with the GF and a high-level CX racer and even he was pretty wrecked by it.
We had terrible luck, too. My friend punctured. I punctured, then broke a spoke. Fun day out though...
