No, i wouldn't say it's warm. It's not paper thin, but has a thin back area to let heat out. Unfortunately the zip is only a half way one, but I rode it in 20 deg heat and it wasn't too bad. If you're riding in 30 degree weather then anything you wear is going to be too hot
