Just uploaded the route on ridewithgps to see the profile, jeez, here's me thinking it'll be fine as it's "only" 2500m.
2500m climbing in 300km is much flatter than your average 300km. A couple of big climbs make it easier as it makes the rest of the route flatter.
1000m per 100km is about 'average'.
It starts getting lumpy at 1300m per 100km (stuff like The Dean) and definitely hilly at 1500m/100km.
