  • What are the fattest tyres people have got on CXP30s?

I run 33mm cross knobblies on CXP33s. Bit of a lightbulb profile though.

  • Which builder?

i'm guessing field cycles, seeing as tilover referred to them in the post

    wrong assumption

  • Til over, what are those bars ?

  • it was chris marshall actually and the bars are fsa omega

  • Tilover, that is looking really good!

  • thanks! can't wait to ride it - it feels so solid

  • Love what you've done with that.

  • Sooo good.
Lovin' the internal brake and gear cable routing mods.
    Whole bike looks nicely balanced.

  • It does look great.

but very reluctant to get rid of the kent seat post

  • Looks great Tom, as always.
Sooo, you selling the Kent Seatpost? I'm after an inline, so would be keen to know. I have a setback Ti, or an inline Thomson masterpiece (if it's black you're after) as a poss px?

  • Looks like fun. Good work on retro fit.

(How did you route shifter cable!?)

  • Just won this on ebay. Pretty ratty obviously, but I rather like that, so just got to decide between doing a proper restore and keep it as is or add some risers/porteur bars and wald and use it for my daily bike.

not the best photos-just the original ebay posting ones

  • If you're to do a restoration job on it then please do it properly.

  • ^^ Seems that between photos you managed to rattle can the top half a snow-white anyways. May as well paint the whole lot.

  • Really like the bike. The vintage look rocks

  • good name

  • Big love to Sumo for collecting them.

you know he left them on the pavement outside LMNH and cycled off only to return 5 minutes later looking relieved they were still there?

The white top is just shitty photo in the sun-haven't even picked up the bike yet, so I guess I'll wait until I've seen it in person before I decide which route to take.

  • Summer road bike, nearly there, can't wait for pay day this week so I can order the last few bits and get her out on the road!
