One of my Crank Candies exploded on my ride home today so think I'll replace them with the oft recommended Time Atacs.
Thing is there's quite a number of models and finding it hard to establish what differences they offer. Alum, xc2, xc2 roc, xc4, xc4s etc etc.
Don't think the higher end carbon and more road looking models are for me, but can anyone give any usefu advice between the models?
Secondly my Mavic Cyclo Tour shoes are somewhat worn out. Had a look at a new pair and noticed the soles are about 5mm thicker than mine! I lie them though as they are fairly subtle, quite sleek and can be got away with wearing about generally, so looking more towards the casual type shoes that can take cleats - any recommendations there that are tough, still good and stiff for longer rides and have plenty of cleat adjustment potential (a bit of a failing of the Mavics)
