Was in Spitalfields the other day and a new place was just opening up, forgotten its name, but went in for a quick look around and got chatting to the owner / manager.
They're trying to pitch themselves between LMNH and the Rapha shop, i.e., a cafe / bike shop / hangout showing racing and whatnot. I didn't really dig it to be honest, was only selling Boardman bikes and a small handful of clothing (but I think this was due to change), and it felt more like a coffee shop with a few bikes sprinkled around for decoration.
However, it's very early days for them yet and will be interesting to see how it turns out when they're fully operational. They're directly opposite the enormous Evans, which may either prove disastrous or be their saving grace.
