Good point, hadn't noticed the dropouts and had no idea about the cranks. Not sure what the fuck's going on though, clearance would be big even with 27".
I take it all back. I wonder what's happened with the frame though, headtube looks more modern than what the rear clearance would suggest.
I was in a bad mood this afternoon, apologies for my curt response.
Oh that's quite all right, no need to apologise.
I have looked a little closer at this frame and it has no drilling for a rear brake too, which makes it even more likely to be track specific.
I first thought that losing a couple of links from the chain would tidy the clearances up, but I think you are right, they are a bit strange. Maybe it was a custom build for someone that wanted it this way. I dunno, but I still think it's a tidy bike at the price :) -

rad track frame
It sold only last month for £150 with the record headset and bottom bracket, so now it's £110 more including the thompson seatpost and nitto stem...not a bad deal but not a great bargain either
I was interested when it was first up for sale last month, but seller couldn't confirm tubing. this was the original ad

Looks like it must be 853 cos of OS downtube and that. -

I don't think so, people that steal bikes are not likely to post up such detailed pictures.
Always, always insist on buying from an address and not from a tube/train station, and if the guy calls you back on a withheld number, it's a sure sign to back up.
I make sure I get receipts too if I buy from Gumtree. -

Fixed-Gear-Single-Speed-
Bike54cm-Carbon-HED3-Tri-spoke-Front-WheelBike is nothing special, H3 is worn out and mindfuck disc doesn't seem to be included. So £600 for that!?
