would say before cleaning ... the head tube still has some tape on it ... or what does "professionally cleaned" mean?

tubing is nothing special, this was an affordable bike back in the days..
the groupset is worth about 40-50 pounds..

Iv noticed this guy selling these bike's on gumtree in Cambridge. Claiming them to be rare and such great condition, and "restored" (apparently a wipe with a cloth qualifys as a restoration, sometimes a new outer cable on some bikes too) Already messaged him how he's talking out his arse and should seriously reconsider the value he puts on them.

Just check the list on this page of bikes he's selling. Prices are laughable to say the least

Apparently this is one of the best ever peugeots ever produced, comes with very high grade carbolite tubing as standard and top flight Exage groupo. Pahahaha

If you were smart you'd compare the bikes you are selling with some seriously cool rides of a similar price, here we call it 'market research'...
If your bikes were worth what you are asking they'd be sold already...simple logic really...

Check out this professionally cleaned chain and rings, I don't reckon I could do a better job myself.
