I think Movistar have the strongest options to beat Sky with Valverde and Quintana. Quintana stands out as the rider who could crack others in the mountains, possible with Valverde as the one to benefit.

Go Cadel.
and again. Go Cadel.

Rui Costa as well.

I'm rooting for Pinot. But realistically he has no chance.

Buffalo I've also got a soft spot for Pinot, but his form hasn't been the greatest this year.
Also Rolland for KOM? -

Shut your mouth. Cycling is a visual spectacle. If we didn't have the opportunity to admire those who look good on a bike in full flight, there would be no fucking point in watching the whole tedious procession.
My bad. I take it all back. Pantani forever!

Go Cadel.
Ih gets into the top 5 I'll eat my softshell....
No wait I've already done that. He'll be a danger at the Tour. However I'm going for another Australian...
Little Richie Porte! Last year will look like a moonlight meal for two compared to the throwdown between Porte and Froome, especially when paparazzi pictures emerge of Cound sucking on Little Richie's Little Richie. Going to be blood on the streets

Science of sport, are there other similar numbers websites out there?

"Gert Steegmans will be the last man, and Matteo Trentin will be the second to last man. But, all the team will be committed with Mark when the stage will fit his characteristics.
Tony Martin will be there to ride to the 'Flamme Rouge' [final kilometre] on the flat stages. He will bring Matteo, Gert and Cav into the best position possible in the final kilometre."I can't see anyone being able to go past those four in the final km's on the sprints, steegmans is a good sprinter in his own right, but if he's leading cav he might be, dare i say, unbeatable? Would be nice to see boonen lead cav out once this season though.
As for GC:
- Froome
- Cadel
- Nibbles/Porte
- Froome

cyclingtips used to be a bit more like it.
Are you after something in particular?

Nah, just some good number crunching of w/kg and gradients and stuff I can have a wank about at lunchtimes.

Argos-Shimano have got Kittel to lead out Degenkolb, or is it Degenkolb to lead out Kittel?
-
• #3016
Degenkolb to lead out Kittel and target intermediate stages. Not sure what is confounding about taking your strongest group of riders.

but with martin just motoring on the front going into the last km, the best they can do is get cav's wheel and try and go round him, and everyone's seen how hard that is

Sprint finishes are messy and unpredictable, OPQS aren't going to have it all their way. Kittal and Degenkolb are on good form, then there's Greipel and Sagan, and Theo Bos is showing good form, beating Cav and Greipel in a stage at (deep breath) Ster ZLM Toer GP Jan van Heeswijk

• #3023
Ok just seen the Blanco squad, Cav doesn't need to worry about Bos, he got cut. Looks like they're putting all their weight behind Mollema

Andy Schleck to lead RadioShack-Leopard at the tour... Apparently they're encouraged by his 40th place in the Tour de Suisse
-
• #3025
hahahahaha
So who are the favourites for the tour? Can't see past Froome really, and Contador if he can sustain any sort of attack in the mountains.
Van garderen? Evans? Gesink? Rodriguez?
Who who who will be in the mix?
