Had a go on a friends one x that was rooted yesterday. With Cynaogen 10. Blimey It's fast.

Think I'm going to do the same with my S2 when I get a chance, it really does breathe new life in to a phone.

read about the speed improvement on the (slow-to-startup) Goog Nexus 7 tablet from rooting it, so gonna give the rooting a go on that;

i'm hoping for lightening-fast (Ubuntu) style start-up times apres, :-)
