Rodabod - where did you get that Ebel serviced, and how much was it? I have some watches that need servicing, including pre WWII.

Hi, I use Tomian (it was father and son, Tom and Ian) who are in Edinburgh, though it's now just the son. He's a really honest guy who only charges you for what you need. A full rebuild with a new mainspring which he sourced for me totalled £100. He fitted a new seconds hand and sourced a slave wheel for my Omega 6B/159 and I think that was only £40 all in.

I hear about watch servicing costing much more elsewhere, so I think you need to be careful.

There's another guy in Scotland called Obsoletewatchandclockparts who has tonnes of spares and does work too. Not sure what he charges though. He sold me a really nice NOS Omega WWW dial.
