@Jaw, the same could be said when the rumours were swirling about Real Madrid sniffing.
@Punnage wrong to the extent that you base the team success just on having Bale play well. Calling us a one man team. Bale played well because he was given licence to, because the manager made the side work around and with him. If AVB isn't there does 'Arry get as much out of him?
AVB implemented a system of play which made us harder to beat, more compact away from home and got a player who had been playing well to play even better. We are a better side under him, and not just because Bale plays for us.. -

Can we get a stato in here for all those other stats out of interest

72 points this year 69 last year... Tottenham's highest points total ever!
If Levy lets AVB go the floodgates will open, it was only a week ago Bale was going on about how he enjoys working with him.
AVB goes Bale will follow and we will be scrapping for the last Europa league place with Liverpool...

Swansea have severed all contact with Laudrup's agent....Is he angling for a way out or is he genuinely unhappy with the lack of progress they're making in the transfer market?
Some are suggesting parallels with Spurs, who also aren't the biggest, richest or have CL to offer prospective buys and seem to showing little movement. -

c'mon munchkin, blind faith, hope and a stubborn refusal to accept the gobsmackingly obvious are our stock in trade.
