Forum reading fail, I thought it was the Euro Bench that weekend.
In. You all on gears?
-
• #329
You can't get lost trying to get to Brighton from London. Almost every junction has a leftover charity ride sign!
I might be in London that weekend, in which case I might join you.

Ditto. If I do it it'll be geared I'm afraid.
-
• #331
Up for it if I have a bike ready in time...
-
• #332
I'll be geared too, I'm sure we'll be riding at a pace suitable for any fixed/ss riders though.
-
• #333
I want to go! But I always work on saturdays :(
If you change your mind or wanna ride any other sunday I'd be in.
I'd ride singlespeed. Not that you need many gears in this flat land that is south england.

could do, up for there and back james. ill have my gears
-
• #335
I'd be up for there and back. I've done this route before, works out 245km from N16
-
• #336
Awesome, this is shaping up nicely
-
• #337
I could be up for there and back if some slingshot aero moves are involved
-
• #338
I rode a nice enough Brighton route with Mrak once, it was all marked in google maps. I'm sure he could email it over if you asked nicely.

Ace, this is looking good.
Depending on how I'm feeling on the day I might* try the return leg too so I can claim my first century.
Is someone who's ridden it before happy to take on navigational duties?
*probably won't

I could be up for this. Only there though. Gotta be fish and chips and a pint on the beach!
-
• #341
I've got a couple of decent Brighton routes on the Garmin so happy to routefind
-
• #342
Ben, just a heads up, I'm planning on turning left into you at some point during the ride
-
• #343
Great, thanks
Does the start time allow for people to ride there and back? I don't want to start at the crack of dawn but could get going earlier if needed.
-
• #344
I'm up for the ride out, can't commit to all day to ride back though. Chips on the beach sounds ace!
-
• #345
As long as the ride actually leaves at 9am I think that will be plenty of time. If people are late they should easily be able to catch up with the main group
-
• #346
Ben, just a heads up, I'm planning on turning left into you at some point during the ride
Haha! I wouldn't expect anything less
-
• #347
Where do people want to meet? Ill post a route later when I'm home
-
• #348
Ooo, day after my last exam... I'd totally be in for there and back if I wasn't planning on getting very drunk the night before :( I'm sure I could meet up with people on your way south, assuming you're starting north of the river. Perfect way to get ready for more partying in the evening... Kind of...

Probably up for this too depending on hangover.
There's the Ditchling Devil route for people that like the odd hill.

In. Either day, there and back, whatever.
