You could attach a second monitor if you have one handy, then you can set which one the menu bar appears on via System Prefs. Other than that, I don't think it's possible.

Thanks, but I don't have a monitor. plus I really need to be able to drag it around everywhere.

had a quick google and it seems impossible to move that menu bar. so annoying.
