    This is the whole point of running a casette to get maximum efficiency at a varying scale of resistance. I very rarely use the top and the bottom gear but spend a lot of time in all kinds of variations front and back to achieve balance and that is the beauty of it. It's apples and pears for sure

    There is a gear for every situation... if you know how to read which situation you are in. Which only a small percentage of people know how to read in reality.

    A tool is an extension of your body, effective if you know how to use it right and useless if you don't. Riding fixed gives you no other option but to use it correctly.

    I've ridden all types of bikes and I'll never go back to regular bikes. Never!!!! :)
