I'm tiny, yet have a decent amount of seatpost on my BMC. Which makes it look like a grown-up sized bike.
A mate had his post over the limit on his BMC, and that actually fit really well (seatpost aside). We had to do a load of carefull calcs to make sure his new granfondo would work before ordering.
I reckon its a bit of a trend with BMC.
