Good luck man.

Scoble has a certain Cavendish quality around the chops, maybe it's just the fuzzy face who knows. You're faster though, obviously.

fork is 517g.
It's also weird. Surely making the taper so short throws away half the benefit?

if there is anything i've learned from the forum this week tester its that there are no misstakes made, there are only funny camera angles

Surprised me I have to say- I would have expected it to taper far further up the steerer as my other forks do.

As these do, for example:

Very rich coming from someone who wrap their bars with several tapes just to cover it.
Looks niice no?

I was going to get the chainring powder coated with the frame - is that likely to be more expensive than simply buying a black chainring?
= cannot phone Armortex until tomorrow.

There's a group buy thread somewhere for people that want black parts.

Dose any one know where i could get these style toe clips in the UK? single strap with 2 holes and metal.
I have been searching around with not much luck, apart from paying a loads to get them posted from America.
Could try Mosquito. I think they can get Soma stuff in. I was talking to a guy who dealt with Soma at the Bike show a couple of years ago and I'm sure he said they were stocking them. I only threw his card away the other week but can't remember his name.

Tonight tried to put some £45 wheels on my beater, need to file down the front axles though...
Edit oh and I tried a small post with a shim to make it to 27.2 but it won't go in. Guessing its a 27?

Trying to decide what wheels I want
Looking at C24s
Zipp 30s
Ksyrium SL SEaston and Reynolds are a little out of the budget although I like the idea of a better breaking surface

What are you going to use them for?

Could just as easily chevron me to 'What am I doing thread'
That's the only reason I'm struggling, pretty much eveything don't really have the money for two sets, so they'll be for racing and weekend rides and everything in between, bar commuting of course
I'll follow the chevrons now

I'd vote C24, then chevron into the distance.
