  • Are you sure that is what's causing the rattle?
Regardless, cut the stays off flush with that flange: no snags, no rattle, cleaner look than those goofy things that SKS provides.

Not 100%, pretty sure it's something to do with the guards though.
It's not too bad but everyone likes a quiet bike, fixed drivechain I can deal with :)

  • Picked up this beast.
Whacked it together, complete with duct tape disc wheel :P just need cranks and brake fitted

    Why a front disc?

  • Let the wind do the steering.

  • They'll call him "the breeze".

  • Nearly finished my first fixed build! Just need to get it put together

Is this the previously rattle-canned one?

    Looks great.

  • Bike shed!

No more limitations on n+1 former!

  • Looks thin! Alarm it?

  • Hi all,

I've just finished to restore this lovely Peugeot PS10 from 1977. Appart from the wheels (mavic record du monde de l'heure) and saddle (ideale 90), nothing has been changed from the original.

As well I've finished this colnago master olympic, in tange superlight steel:

And finally a Alain Michel frame (famous french frame builder) built with a mix of campagnolo c-record/Croce d'Aune/Athéna parts

  • Finished a quick and dirty build of the Vern'.

There will be updates, in particular some lovely Ambrosio hubs and Red Excellence rims that are currently being built.

I also need to tinker with the shifting a little, as it wasn't as precise as I would expect from such a high end group.

    The ride however, was amazing.

  • ^^Nice work. I especially like the colour of the Alain Michel.

  • Beautiful stuff meconium, especially the Peugeot!
Were those levers generally taped or no?

Thanks, the levers are not taped they have a small rubber hood used to rest the hands, like this: http://velobase.com/ViewComponent.aspx?ID=A16D9104-8099-4A9C-803B-425F8F3F632E&Enum=118&AbsPos=5

  • Yeah, I had a set of those with white hoods, just wondered if people supplemented that with tape.

Not overly thin, outside painted and all windows and doors removed to be painted in cream...

Bikes will be chained and locked inside though....

  • Ha, no timber, with felt on top, it was just sunny!

  • Is that a Spa Cycles?
