Yeah, £10 for the ones without nipple inserts, £25 if you want one with the inserts?
SJS do the inserts for 39p a piece.
The ones without the nipple inserts will be cool.
Bring them this weekend if it's possible. If not give them to Em sometime.
Thanks -

Does anyone have an old square taper crankset/small chainring lying around? Been meaning to sort my housemate's little polo bike out for months and finally have some time...

I thought it might be worth pointing out beagle's timeattack cleats bulk buy thread:

In case there are people that mostly look at subscribed threads. -

In case there are people that mostly look at subscribed threads.I've been SRSly considering the switch because my SPDs are knackered, but all the pedals seem really expensive. What pedals do people use? Where can I get a couple of pairs without splashing out?

+1 I've been thinking the same thing, but the pedals seem to expensive, especially when you can pick up SPD pedals for a couple of quid second hand

Time are better i think though and i guess last forever, which is why there are so many 2nd hand ones on the bay.

Which type do you use?
Are any particularly good/bad or are all of the MTB ones usable?

lots of people like the old ones, i have some alium which i rate and are standing up to lots of abuse. I have a pair of S-roc ones on my road bike which oddly occasionally i find harder to clip into, i think its just a different positioning on the bike and thinking too much about it. Not sure how they would be for polo though as they aren't as strong looking. I think jono has some on his polo bike ...JM?

Overall, my experience with time has been great: I've had Alium springs break in the past though (as have others) so I moved to the box-section spring models instead (a bit more pricey)... no issues on multiple bikes to date.
I was under the impression SPD is just as good a system as time and I believe their cleats wear more slowly (the brass time cleats are pretty soft, etc)?
I don't think there's much in it, both are good systems with marginal differences.
Can you bring this one to Cambridge for me ?
