Have you actually tried talking to Be tech support? Have they confirmed that 1.5Mbs is the speed you should be getting?
Yeah, I was quoted 2.0Mbs, but actually get 1.5Mbs. I can tolerate that if the connection was at least reliable. I've been on the phone with their tech guys nearly every day for the last two months, doing the same crap over and over. It doesn't take long until the connection starts dropping again. Makes me think its to do with the whole Sky buying them out, bringing their shitty service with them
Rotherhithe will never get above 1.5 Mbps - all of the telecoms infrastructure is built with aluminium cabling (to save costs), and has a stupidly long loop from the local exchange in Bermondsey.
Shitty wires over 6 miles long lead to utterly bollocks speeds.
There are no alternatives, other than satellite, which is bonkers expensive.
