I had an Alfine 8 in there for a year or so but changed it back to s/s because 1) it was too heavy for playing polo with, and 2) I dont have the time to go up to NE polo any more at the weekend so didnt really need the extra gears just to spin to Newington. The Alfine 8 and Nexus 8 are 135mm. My frame is a Pompetamine frame which has wider spacing than a Pompino.
Has anyone here ever ran 26s on a Pompino?
