I was thinking about this off the back of the Lazer sale thread. With interest rates being shit and all how do watches stack up as a medium to long term investment. I'm thinking about 5-15 years.
There was a shit one with a white dial on ebay a while back that I really liked the look of, so since then I've been keeping half an eye out. This one looks to be in amazing condition and has all the boxes etc.
In terms of ongoing costs the only ones I can think of are insurance and servicing - any others? Also how would a vintage automatic fare if it was not in use? I know you can get those winding machines, but then is there a risk of requiring more servicing?
