She is a cyclist herself...

She keeps apologising for the tweet and saying about how it has affected her. She apologised to the cyclist but more about how it has affected her and not in a way that is is apologising for hitting him and driving off. Uses the 'I'm a cyclist myself' get out clause. The apology is all me, me me.

In my job I have to watch body language of people all the time, I couldn't help but notice that she appears to be smirking all the way through this interview as though 'I'll say what I have to say to the cameras but really this is not what I think'.

As far as im concerned the apology is a waste of video tape. I hope the police prosecute.

Her brief, Simon Nicholls, would have advised her against apologising for anything bar the tweet.

That may be the case, but I think the video does her no favours at all. It may be so that the police and or any jury go lightly on her, 'she showed remorse etc' but I think it works against her.
