I'm going to be honest Indra, I was riding my front disc quite a bit at times, I'm not sure brakless is a great idea. Cake was rigid so not too worried about that but there's not much room to skid and you don't want your back wheel to hit a root while skidding.

Start yes. Not so sure about the end but doesn't matter. Going to use the Garmin next weekend to save the routes and learn them for future use.

Got a knobbly continental for the front. Managed to beat some progression into the brakes. Ordered a brake booster for bling.
Dead excited.

Excellent. I was hoping somebody would do that.
Although now I'm under more pressure to do a good route :-/

This.
Although I have an exam tomorrow and I need the extra track training, however a fast paced ride to and from the forest could do me good.
Dimi, please come on your gangsta at least once.

On saturday it was rideable. some of it muddy and puddly. But majority of it ok, maybe a bit moist.
Except for here. Where I fell.

Will do.
Cheers.

I fell.
Am I going to need a bigger first aid kit?

I'm still interested. Saturdays would be the obvious ones for me but I'm not sure I'm up to five hours riding in the woods. Weekdays might be doable but I don't want to be slowing down a small group either, so suggestions for a slower weekday date would be good.

Five hours group riding in the woods = two hours eating and drinking, thirty minutes of getting lost, thirty minutes of finding other people who have got lost, half an hour faffing around with shock pumps and tyre pressure...chuck in a few crashes and the inevitable puncture...
TL;DR you'll be fine.

I shouldn't worry. The 5-6 hour thing is more an idea of the time that I'll have available than anything else. If I know at the start of the ride who needs to leave early then I can get them back to the station and carry on with the ride from there.
This shouldn't inconvenience anyone, as the routes will cross over each other on a few occasions.
Not that anyone should easily notice :-)
Is anyone doing this fixed?
