  • lol it just get's better and better

  • Still waiting for my reply to be confirmed

Is that it? Let's hope Everton aren't as off their game on Sunday.

  • Successful Clive is successful...

  • Fantastic stuff... Personally, I'd let Robbie Savage have a go...

  • Oh TS. Stop. Savage removed from the airwaves and managing Everton?

I'm off to get lotto tickets....

  • This time next week, we'll be squillionaires...

  • Benitez has just said that there will not be a draw on Sunday. Presumably he means that if we are drawing and threatened with the possibility of a play off against Arsenal, he will put Benyoum on to ensure we lose.

  • He gifts you 3rd place and a Europa win you still whinge.

  • ^ This. But it is equally a statement as to the brilliance of skinnyoum.

  • We haven't got third or even fourth place yet. If we lose 8-0 and Tottenham win 8-0 we will be defending our trophy.

  • come on spurs

  • Arsenal also need to win.

  • come on spurs

    Quoted for posterity.

  • come on arse

  • ^ Sounds wrong

  • come on arse

    Quoted for awkward posterior reference

  • True supporter in that he had gone to the ground to watch the match. Met some Portuguese supporters who had bought their plane tickets as soon as Befica went out of the Champions League. Plenty of them there. Many in half and half scarves. The neutral sections saved for the "UEFA family" of 30,000 people seemed to contain more Chelsea than Benfica. On the television last night watching the game on CTV,** it seemed that we were the louder group apart from a couple of occasions**, despite playing woefully and leaving everyone with the feeling that we were about to cop a 4-0 thrashing. It was also odd the way in which the stadium announcer led the cheering for their goal.

I heard your one song a couple of times... they were much the louder group especially in the 1st half

  • glad my spellong was up ti scratch there i is quote clise ti o in my keybiard

  • Now you're typing with a west country accent. So talented dicki, so talented.

  • Bob Wilson's had his bike nicked

  • Quoted for awkward posterior reference

Not entirely awkward. It could simply be a statement about an observation, and there are many circumstances where that could be a very positive observation vs awkward.

  • Clive's arse is always awkward.

  • Bob Wilson's had his bike nicked

Nice to see him on a Shorter Bike. Wonder if he is a fellow North Londoner

  • so does the football thread shut at 5:45pm on sunday afternoon or can we continue on monday for a few hours before the asylum locks it's doors for the summer
